He added; “the stages for installation of offshore platforms for South Pars, Phase 19 were completed in a period of 9 days, and as shown by the records of the installation operations in the South Pars Phases Offshore, the period is considered as the shortest possible time for installation of the jackets offshore.
The Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company was in charge of the construction and completion of the jacket for platform of Phase 19.
“The jackets were loaded in Khoramshahr Yard on March 30th this year and after its successful launch into water and roll-up operations, the jacket piling operations were carried out in order to expedite the development of South Pars Gas Phases under the precise supervision.” Massoudi said.
He evaluated the progress of the construction of the platforms by the Iranian companies as being satisfactory and expressed hope that the final stages of installation and operation of the platforms will be carried out with success as per the schedule prescribed by the employer in the production site of South Pars Phase 19.
Phase 19 of the South Pars is one of the new phases in this shared gas field, which is under construction by an Iranian consortium.
